Abstract

1394097 Knitting machines ETUDES ET BONNETERIE SA 12 Sept 1972 [9 Nov 1971] 42238/72 Heading D1C A circular knitting machine comprises a rotatable needle bed and rotatable therewith a draw-off device comprising at least one traction roller 2, 3, 4 driven from a first rotatable element e.g. a toothed crown 5 rotatable with the draw-off device through transmission means 9 on the machine frame and a second element 19, 20. Transmission means 9 may be a gear chain including exchangeable pinions for varying the speed at which the roller(s) 2, 3, 4 are driven. Element 20 drives through a chain 21 a pinion 22 on the shaft of a worm 24 which drives roller 24. Element 5 may drive a second toothed crown (35) through transmission means (37), Fig. 4 (not shown).
