Abstract

1392956 Discharging conveyers P J-L DARDEL 20 July 1972 34100/72 Heading B8 Fruit is deflected from a conveyer 1 into one of a series of compartments 12-16 by a respective one of a series of pivotal deflectors 2-6, the deflector being retracted when the compartment is full so that the next downstream deflector deflects fruit on to the next downstream compartment. The deflectors are operated by pneumatic jacks controlled by sensors 7-11 at the compartments, and may be spring biased to the extended position. When the last compartment 16 is full the conveyer 1 is stopped.
