Abstract

1392446 Microscope VICKERS Ltd 4 Sept 1972 [7 June 1971] 19299/71 Heading G2J The light-path between the objective 5 and eyepiece 8 is looped by means of reflecting prisms and a re-focusing lens 14 is included to compensate for the additional path length. Various accessories may now be inserted in the lightpath in the region 17. Two slides, 18 and 20, carrying inner prisms as shown, enable the light path to be varied still further so that, for instance part of or all of the light can be relayed to the eye-piece or to a camera.
