1392406 Vibratory sieving arrangement INDUSTRIEELE HANDELSCOMBINATIE HOLLAND NV 14 March 1973 [16 March 1972] 12169/73 Heading B2H A vibratory sieving arrangement for separating granular materials, e.g. sand and gravel, according to size comprises a sloping vibratory sieve having a first portion 5 arranged above a water level 4, a second portion 6 arranged below the water level, and a third portion 7 interconnecting the portions 5 and 6, intersecting the water level and having an angle of slope greater than that of each of the portions 5 and 6. The sieve is arranged in a vessel 1 containing water to which the mixture of materials is fed at 2 by means of a transporting arrangement 3. The fine material passing through the screen is removed at 8 and the coarse material passing over it is discharged at 9. Means are provided for imparting vibration to the sieve surface.
