Abstract

1392278 Printed circuits JAEGER 18 May 1973 [18 May 1972] 23873/73 Heading H1R A printed circuit on a flexible substrate, 1, includes a tongue 2 with parallel conductors 3 thereon, a plurality of the conductors terminating at a common line perpendicular to their lengths, the tongue having apertures 4 adjacent the line and a further strip 5 beyond the apertures, the strip accommodating a conductor portion 8 interconnecting two of the conductors 3, the aperatures 4 engaging projections of a support member 7 on which the substrate is mounted for connection to be made to the conductors by a connector 9. In a further embodiment, Figs. 5-7 (not shown) two substrate portions, joined by a common tongue, have a conductor portion (18) extending across the tongue, and the common lines, to interconnect conductors on the substrate portions. Two tongues of a substrate may also be connected by a strip portion, the portion carrying an interconnecting conductor portion for conductors on the tongues.
