1391603 Angular bending I MANSELL and R A BARKER 13 March 1972 [15 March 1971] 6865/71 Heading B3E A die pad assembly A co-operable with a reciprocable male die 12 comprises a pad 4 of elastomeric material which is retained in a recess of a holder 2, the recess having side walls 6 which are inclined to the thrust axis of the male die. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 the pad may have a pentagonal cross-section or a hexagonal cross-section, the base of the latter being defined by the dashed line x.
