Abstract

1390505 Vibratory conveyers W H DICKINSON ENG Ltd 17 July 1972 [22 April 1971] 10750/71 Heading B8A [Also in Division F2] A vibratory conveyer comprises a conveying tray 2 mounted on a chassis 4 by pairs of pivoted links 6, 8, 10, 12 and driven by an eccentric 16 and connecting rod 18. The links 8, 10 are extended and are pivoted to a balance weight 24. The chassis 4 is mounted on four vibration isolators each comprising a pneumatictyred wheel 30 engaged between V-sectioned recesses 32, 34 respectively in the chassis 4 and pedestals 26, 28. The damping stiffness can be altered by changing the tyre pressures.
