Mirrors, attaching.- Relates to pivot adjustments of the type in which a projection on one pivoted member cooperates with a series of notches, holes, or recesses in the other member, applicable to mirror,. lamp, and wind-screen attachments for motor cars or cycles, shop fittings, &c. According to the invention, the projection is rigid or integral with the member and is engaged or disengaged from the notches &c. by a radial movement of the member relatively to the pivot. In the mirror attachment shown in Fig. 3, the member 2 carrying the mirror 1 is tubular and has .a limited sliding movement on a shank 3, which is attached to the member 2 by a spring 5, and is mounted on a pivot pin 7 by an eyed end 4. An integral projection 15 on the member 2 co-operates with a notched sleeve 8, which is secured to a handle-bar or like clip 10, and is assembled on the pivot pin between the end 4 of the bar 3 and a flange 13 on the pin. The outer side of the member 2 is extended and slotted for engagement with the pin. The parts are retained on the pin by a nut 12. In the modification shown in Fig. 6, the member 2 has an integral shank 19 formed with a slot to receive the pivot pin 7 and a rubber block 16 serving as a spring. Washers 17, 18 retain the block 16 in position. A stud 15 is provided on the part 19 for engagement with the sleeve 8.
