Abstract

1390427 Multiplex pulse signalling SIEMENS AG 7 June 1972 [29 June 1971] 26645/72 Heading H4L In a time division multiplexing arrangement a plurality of distributers each having an output and a plurality of inputs are connected in series in such a manner that the output of each distributer excepting the last in the series is connected to an input of the succeeding distributer. The distributers may be sequentially controlled in the normal manner or may be "priority controlled", i.e. whenever a signal or group of signals is passed from an input to the output the distributer returns to its initial state. The remaining inputs are connected to measuring instruments which also transmit address signals, the final output being supplied to a data processing installation.
