Abstract

139,026. France, A. G. March 18, 1919. Buckles. - A sliding- frame buckle comprises a frame a having a flat front bar c, a depressed middle bar f to which one end of the strap g is attached, and an end bar d which may be flat, twisted, or curved, the sides of the frame being provided for a portion only of their length with inturned flanges b for the sliding frame c to work in. The sliding frame c has an upturned rear end h for manipulation, and a hollow curved section or semi-cylindrical front edge j which is' caused to ride over the bar e by the tension of the strap. The sliding frame is prevented from being separated from the main frame by a protruding lower edge on the front bar j abutting against the middle bar f.
