Abstract

1389946 Pressure responsive devices PENN CONTROLS Inc 9 June 1972 [26 Aug 1971] 27042/72 Heading F1D [Also in Division G 1] A pressure responsive device 110, Fig.3, comprising a housing 112 closed at one end by a stack of diaphragms 142 is constructed so that under pressures higher than a predetermined value adjacent diaphragms abut one another to prevent further movement. As described, the device operates a pivoted switch 168 which is moved between contacts 180, 182. A stop 190 limits downward movement of the switch 168 under reduced pressure.
