1389874 2 - Bromo - 4,5 - dichloroimidazoles CIBA-GEIGY AG 19 July 1972 [20 July 1971 24 May 1972] 33841/72 Heading C2C Novel compounds of the Formula I wherein R is an optionally substituted (e.g. by halogen), C 2-6 alkenyl group, are prepared by reacting 2-bromo-4,5-dichloroimidazole with a halide of formula, halogen-R, preferably in the presence of base. Example 1 describes the preparation of compounds of Formula I which are used as pesticides.
