Abstract

138,768. Beadle, W. H. April 15, 1919. Joints and connexions.-In a bedstead joint of the type comprising a socket 2 projecting from a plate 1 secured to a pillar and a tongue 9 projecting from a plate 8 secured to a side rail, the socket 2 is made of U-section with a flat face adjacent to the plate 1 and inwardly inclined face 2 opposite to the plate. The tongue 9 has a recess 14 on the side which engages the plate 1. The fittings may be of cast or stamped metal.
