1387535 Pressure guages BAYER AG 2 Oct 1973 [2 Oct 1972] 45899/73 Heading G1L In a burst proof pressure-measuring instrument in which the reading side of the instrument is protected by a partition from the interior of the instrument under excess pressure a dial plate 7 forms the partition and in the event of the elastic measuring element 4 bursting the dial plate 7 is supported on the housing 2 of the instrument through an elastic sealing ring 11 or sealing compound. The dial plate 7 may be from 1.5 to 4 M/M thick.
