1381994 SLR cameras FRANKE & HEIDECKE GmbH 12 March 1973 [20 March 1972] 11817/73 Heading G2A An SLR camera has a switch 5 coupled to the shutter 1 (or diaphragm 2) and arranged to close when the shutter (or diaphragm) is closed whereby a photo-electric element 3 measures spurious light 9 e.g. from the view-finder and a corresponding signal is stored on a capacitor 4, the switch 5 being arranged to open when the shutter (or diaphragm) is opened whereby the element 3 measures both spurious light 9 and scene light 10 and the corresponding signal minus the signal stored on capacitor 4 is applied to a device 6 for automatically setting the diaphragm, Resistors 7, 8 are adjusted according to film and shutter speeds.
