1381927 Valves BARKING BRASSWARE CO Ltd 15 March 1973 [16 March 1972] 12292/72 Heading F2V In a tap having a rotary non-reciprocating spindle 5 threadably engaged with a reciprocating non-rotary valve member 6 a bleed passage 19 is provided in the valve member to communicate the inlet pressure to chamber 20 to provide a fluid pressure force tending to close the valve member. The bleed passage 19 is provided through a flow graduating plug 14 which clamps a washer 13 to the end of the valve member.
