1381769 Knitting machines PAOLO ORIZIO SpA 3 Oct 1972 [18 April 1972] 45447/72 Heading D1C A pattern wheel for a circular knitting machine comprises, secured together, a discshaped body 1, with a hub 2, an L-section peripheral portion 3 with inclined radial slots 4, and an auxiliary disc 6 with inclined radial slots 8 in its periphery coinciding with a circular groove 5 in body 1 and aligned with the radial slots 4 in the latter to receive selector bits 9. Bits 9 are held in slots 4, 8, with a heel engaging groove 5 and their operative part 10 projecting, by a ring-shaped cover 12 secured to body 1.
