1377156 Mixed solvents ISC CHEMICALS Ltd 22 June 1973 [2 Aug 1972] 36089/72 Heading C5D A solvent mixture for removing flux and other residues from printed circuit boards consists of trichlorotrifluoroethane (especially 1,1,2- trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane), ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol. The solvent may consist of 20 to 98% of the trichlorotrifluoroethane (A) with equal proportions by wt. of the alkanols, e.g. 65% of (A) with 17À5% by wt. of each alkanol or 97% of (A) with 1À5% by wt. of each alkanol. Specification 1,335,705 is referred to.
