Abstract

1374218 Packages JINTAN TERUMO CO Ltd 27 June 1973 [30 June 1972] 30489/73 Heading B8C A package for surgical instruments consists of a covering 5 with a thermoplastics coating 6 to which is peripherally bonded the perforated thermo-setting coating 2 on a mounting paper 1, coating 6 thereby bonding only to paper 1 through perforations 3 so that covering 5 and paper 1 may be easily peeled apart. The outer surface of paper 1 is coated with a moistureproof sterilizing gas permeable film 9. Coating 2 may be an epoxy-resin or unsaturated polyester, and may be applied by an offset printing technique using a coated drum, or by a screen printing method.
