Abstract
1373244 Composite photography COMMUNICATION CORPS Inc 3 Nov 1971 [23 Nov 1970] 51087/71 Heading G2X An apparatus for composite photography and capable of producing a variably magnified.image for recording includes a holder 34 for a transparency illuminated by lamp 2, a lens 15 for projecting the image of the transparency, two condensing lenses 16 of different focal lengths which focus the image in the plane of a holder 19 and a camera 23 with an objective 24 focused on this plane. At least one of the lenses 15, 24 is movable to vary the magnification ratio of the transparency and the image thereof recorded by the camera 23. The lenses 16 may be of 24 and 38 inches focal length respectively, the larger focal length lens always being nearest to the lens 13. As shown the lens 24 may be a zoom lens and the camera 23 movable along the axis x-x. The slide holder 34 may be movable in mutually perpendicular directions to align parts of the transparency with the axis x-x. The holder 19 is able to receive translucent objects so that a composite image is recorded by the camera 23.
