Abstract
1372136 Pipes and tubes DAVIS TRUNKING Ltd 7 July 1972 31937/72 Heading F2P [Also in Division H2] A trunking for electric and telephone wires and plumbing comprises channel portion 1, with a lid 2 which is fitted resiliently on to resilient channel walls by first engaging a camming surface 23 against a surface 11 and applying downward pressure on cover part 20 such that the camming surfaces 22, 10 in contact at the opposite wall mutually slide, resiliently, such that when surface 22 reaches the lower end of surface 10, it "snaps" into position. The cover 2 may be removed by levering off with, e.g. a screwdriver. Since, during the above operation, the walls slightly extend, resiliently, outwardly, a space for this extension in, e.g. plasterwork in which the trunking is to be laid, is made.
