1369858 Acoustic measurement of forces TOYOTA JIDOSHA KOGYO KK 12 Nov 1971 [24 Nov 1970] 04128/74 Divided out of 1369857 Heading H4D The description is similar to that of the parent Specification 1,369,857 (see Divisions H3-H5) but the claims relate to a method of measuring an axial force within an article by determining the natural resonant frequency differential (f #2 -f #1 ) of the article under forced oscillation thereof caused by ultrasonic waves, f #1 and f #2 being the natural resonant frequencies measured under the same axial force condition but using ultrasonic waves of first and second different frequencies respectively, and by compariing the differential with calibration data relating differential frequency to axial force.
