1369101 Razor blades GILLETTE INDUSTRIES Ltd 23 July 1973 [25 July 1972] 34715/72 Heading B4B A razor blade unit for a safety razor comprises a flexible double-edged blade 11 to which are secured a pair of single edged blade strips 13 via spacers 12. The spacers may be of metal or plastics, and secured to the blades by welding or by adhesive. In a modification, the doubleedged blade may be in the upper position and the blade strips 13 secured to the under side of the blade 11. The thickness of the blades may be the same or vary. In order to modify the razor geometry, converter devices 15 may be secured to the existing guard bars 10 of the razor head; such converters are fully described in the copending Specification 1,369,102.
