1368445 Endless conveyers M LEGRAND 2 Sept 1971 [4 Aug 1971] 41032/71 Heading B8A An endless belt is formed by a plurality of parallel slats 13, 13a ... 13n, joined by hinge rods such that the outer surface of the belt is smooth while the inner surface is toothed to engage a toothed driving member (e.g. drum 11). The belt passes over two drums 11, 12, and is supported between the drums by the knuckles running on a plate 20. Near the drum at the discharge end of the belt is a trough 25 beneath the belt, the bottom of which slopes outwardly from the middle to both sides, to remove waste material which may drop through from the slats above.
