Abstract
1367699 Zero setting of A/D converter RELIANCE ELECTRIC CO 23 Dec 1971 [26 Feb 1971] 60109/71 Heading G4H In a dual romp analogue to digital converter, the unknown voltage is integrated for either a normal or a long period, the long period being used to improve the accuracy of zero setting. The periods correspond to counts of 20,000 and 100,000 respectively in clock fed counter 12. The zero position is set using manual control 46 on bridge 45 and the output from load cell 20 connected to the converter may be linearized by variable resistor 26 and switch 27.
