Abstract

1367519 Stackable trays OFFICE DESIGN GmbH 18 Nov 1971 [5 Dec 1970] 53558/71 Heading A4H [Also in Divisions B6 and B8] An oblong plastics tray for letters &c. has lengthwise runners 6 beneath its base 1 which abut the inner surfaces of the side walls 2, 3 of a tray beneath during stacking in vertical alignment; the runners 6 have recesses 9, 10 for engaging the rear wall 4 of a tray beneath during stacking in either of two different stair-wise arrangements, Fig.3; the runners 6 also have further recesses 11 for engaging at least one of the side walls 2, 3 of a tray beneath during crosswise stacking, Fig.5. The tray includes a front access opening 5 bounded by straight strip like or curved front wall portions 18, Fig.3, or 21, Fig.5, and a forward base access opening 19 bounded by a strengthening rib 20 or 23. The base may include a forward inclined portion 15, Fig.3.
