Abstract
1361432 Separating radioisotopes E M SMITH and H B HUPF 20 Oct 1971 [29 Oct 1970] 48841/71 Heading G6R The 99m isotope of technetium is prepared by sublimation from the parent sodium molybdate Mo-99. The parent isotope is supported on the sintered glass 11 and heated by the furnace 30. The tube 13 is open at both ends to permit the free flow of air and the technetium-99m, sublimed from 11, collects in the chamber 15. By the same process, 1132 may be obtained from Te132, In113m from Sn113, and Cd111m from Ag111.
