1361108 Fluidised bed apparatus EUROPEAN ATOMIC ENERGY COMMUNITY 25 Oct 1972 [26 Oct 1971] 49277/72 Headings B1F and B2L [Also in Division F4] A fluidisation chamber for coating material particles in a gas flow comprises two side walls 2, two transverse walls 3 and a base 4 the four walls resting in a groove in the base 4 and being retained by peripheral restraining members 5, the base 4 being provided with a gas inlet 16, 17. Blocks 6 hold the upper ends of the walls in place. Blocks 4, 5 and 6 are made of graphite as are heater elements 7. The chamber can be changed through an aperture 14 and a discharge aperture 15 for gas leads to a filter. A pyrometer may be inserted through an aperture 13.
