1360553 X-ray contrast agent ERCO LAKEMEDEL AB 17 July 1972 [11 Aug 1971] 33408/72 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] X-ray contrast compositions contain a salt of an acid of formula: wherein acyl represents acetyl or propionyl and X represents a C 3-6 alkylene radical. In Example 2, a compound of the above formula in which acyl is acetyl and X is butylene is mixed with N-methylglucammie, Na-Ca- EDTA, ammonium hydroxide, NaOH and water. The product is suitable for injection.
