1359126 Injection moulding machines ZARGUN FABRIK FUR SPEZIAL-KUNST-STOFFMASCHINEN GmbH [trading as ZARGUN FABRIK FUR SPECIAL - KUNST - STOFFMASOHINEN GmbH & CO KG] 9 Feb 1973 [11 Feb 1972] 6443/73 Heading B5A An injection moulding machine comprises a plurality of worm feed units each connected through its own valved duct 35, 45 with an injection mould (not shown), each worm feed unit comprising a continuously rotatable but axially fixed worm 15, 16. The valves in the ducts 35, 45 are preferably operable simultaneously by means of a lever 37 attached to a rotatable shaft 36. This shaft carries at its ends closing pins 34, 44 rotatable in sleeves 33, 43. The pins 34, 44 are drilled or grooved. The injection ducts 35, 45 are uniformly distributed over the injection mould which has fixed and movable parts mounted on support plates 38, 39 respectively. The plate 39 is moved to closed position by an hydraulic drive 60 and held under increased pressure by hydraulic drives 50, 70. The clamping drives are preferably disposed in line with the injection units.
