Abstract

1358181 Pressurized dispensing containers PRECISION VALVE CORP 6 Feb 1973 [9 Feb 1972] 5705/73 Heading F1R In a container valve of the type having a sealing washer 9 controlling a valve stem passage 19 and held against the valve cup by the valve housing 11, the latter has an uninterrupted inner rim 10 and an outer rim having gaps 21 whereby during charging through openings 20 in the cup the washer is flexed away from the cup in the regions 21 and the fluid flows around the exterior of the housing. As shown the outer margin comprises projections 22 extending from the inner margin 10. In a second embodiment the projections are radially spaced from the inner margin.
