1357443 Cooking apparatus TRAITEMENTS THERMIQUES S A 8 June 1971 19525/71 Heading A4D Cooking apparatus for frying food which has been wet with liquid fat comprises a rotatable drum 1 having rotary drive means consisting of an electric motor (not shown) driving a shaft 11 on which are mounted drive rollers 7, 8 which engage the conical end portions 4, 5 of the drum. The shaft 11 is rotatably mounted in a side portion 12 of a frame, and also fixed in the side portion 12 is a shaft 10, bearing support rollers 6, 9 for the drum, and electric radiant heating bars 15 having a reflector 16. The drum has inwardly projecting ribs 3 disposed either parallel to its axis of rotation for batch cooking, or helically for continuous cooking.
