Abstract

1357405 Triangular wave generator W & T AVERY Ltd 17 Sept 1971 [18 Sept 1970] 43459/71 Heading H3T [Also in Division G1] A delta voltage generator 4 comprises a trigger circuit 142 and integrator 143, the trigger cct. including an operational amplifier 131 of which the output potential since it is coupled via resistance 141 to its non-inverting input 132 can adopt only two stable conditions. The trigger cct. output is connected by resistance 137 to the input of op. amp. 138 forming an integrator with capacitor 140, the integrator output being connected by junction 134 of resistances 135, 136 to the inverting input of op. amp. 131. Alternating action of trigger 142 with integrator 143 produces at the trigger cct. output a square waveform signal and thence by integration a delta voltage on lead 3. The generator is part of an arrangement for determining rotary unbalance (see Division G1).
