Abstract

1355113 Thermographic copying apparatus FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 8 July 1971 [8 July 1970] 32209/71 Heading G2A A thermographic copying device includes a flash lamp V for supplying a flash of thermal radiation for effecting the copying process, at least two condensers C 1 and C 2 each of which are capable of storing sufficient charge to illuminate the lamp, and an associated circuit, the connections of the condensers to the lamp being interchangeable, so that while one condenser is discharging through the lamp the other condenser(s) is (are) charging for subsequent lamp illumination. In the circuit of Fig.4 closure of switch S 1 actuates a relay R 1 which closes switch S 11 to operate a flip flap circuit F. F. causing switches S 31 and S 32 to change over to the positions shown in full lines. Relay R 1 also closes switch S 12 which actuates a time delay relay R 2 . Relay R 2 operates a short time after relay R 1 to close switch S 21 , thus discharging capacitor C 1 through the lamp V and at the same time charging capacitor C 2 . When switch S 1 is again actuated the switches S 31 , S 32 take up the positions shown in dashed lines and capacitor C 2 is discharged.
