1353920 Rear-view mirrors FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 14 Dec 1971 57973/71 Heading B7J A rear-view mirror, positionable for day or night use, comprises a piece of glass 1 having parallel surfaces 3 and 5 and a film or films 7 of transparent plastics material adhered to the surface 5 of the glass, the surface 9 of the film remote from the surface 5 being stepped to form a plurality of parallel strips 11 whose outer plane surfaces make an angle of about 5 degrees with the surface 5 of the glass, which surface 9 is silvered. The surface 9 is moulded or milled to form the strips 11.
