1352743 Electro-chemical analysis UNITED STATES STEEL CORP 20 May 1971 [21 May 1970] 16105/71 Addition to 1255417 Heading G1N In a solid electrolyte probe as described in the Parent Specification 1255417 the reference electrode is a mixture of Cr2O3 with chromium and an alloy of chromium and a metal having an oxide less stable than Cr2O3 and solid at the electrode working temperature. The preferred alloy is of the group consisting of > 10% manganese; > 10% iron and > 5% nickel.
