Abstract

1352115 Blasting PENNWALT CORP 13 Nov 1972 [26 Jan 1972] 32722/73 Divided out of 1352114 Heading B3D The subject matter of the present Specification is substantially identical with that described in Specification 1,352,114 but the claims are directed to abrading apparatus comprising a nozzle for directing a stream of abrading material to an abrading zone, means for supplying a pressurized stream of abrading material to the nozzle, a work-table having first and second holders spaced apart thereon, each holder being adapted to hold a workpiece, the work-table being rotatable in a generally horizontal plane to position one of the holders at a time in the abrading zone and simultaneously to position the other of the holders in a loading zone outside the abrading zone, indexing means for rotatably oscillating the work-table to move the holders first in one direction and then the other for alternately positioning the holders in the abrading zone, and means for initiating the flow of the abrasive stream from the nozzle towards a workpiece supported on the one of the holders positioned in the abrading zone.
