Abstract
1351032 Fluoroaminopyridazines ISC CHEMICALS Ltd 1 Aug 1972 [4 Aug 1971] 36706/71 Heading C2C Fluoroaminopyridazines of the general formula wherein each Y is Cl or F, at least one being F; R 1 and R 2 may be the same or different and each is H, C 1-4 alkyl, benzyl or phenyl group; provided that if R 1 and R 2 are the same neither is H or an ethyl group, are prepared by reacting a compound of general formula with an amine of general formula NHR 1 R 2 , preferably in an aqueous, alcoholic or polar aprotic reaction medium at 0-100‹ C. The compounds 5 - butylamino-, 5 - phenylamino- and 5 - benzyl amino - 3,4,6 - trifluoropyridazine are exemplified. The known compounds 5-amino- and 5-diethylamino-3,4,6-trifluoropyridazines are also prepared. Insecticidal, fungicidal and herbicidal compositions incorporate compounds of Formula I and an inert diluent.
