Abstract

1349570 Vibrators GEORG FISCHER AG 7 May 1971 [12 May 1970] 13834/71 Heading F2X An unbalance weight for an oscillation generator is in the form of two segments 4, 5, the segment 4 being fixedly connected to the generator drive shaft while the segment 5 is freely mounted on the drive shaft, and whereas the segment 4 has a plurality of screw-threaded holes 15 at graduated intervals the segment 5 has through holes 16, each associated with one of the screw-threaded holes 15, a clamping screw 7 being provided for insertion in a through hole 16 and engagement with the associated screwthreaded hole 15 for the connection of the two segments 4, 5. The segment 5 is rotatable between the segment 4 and a washer 10 connected by screws 11 to the end of the drive shaft. Each through hole 16 can be positioned coaxial with only its associated screw-threaded hole 15. The through holes 16 are numbered in continuous sequence. The springs 17 of the screwthreaded holes 15 exhibit a mathematical correlation or a graduation, forming for example a geometrical progression with respect to one another. The oscillation generator (Fig. 1, not shown) has two parallel drive shafts each provided with two unbalance weights of the invention arranged one on either side of the generator housing. The two shafts are connected by synchronously running gear-wheels.
