Abstract

1349391 Bearings WERKZEUGMASCHINENKOMBINAT "FRITZ HECKERT" KARL - MARX - STADT VEB 2 Aug 1971 36162/71 Heading F2A [Also in Division G1] A bore gauge spindle 1 has end cone surfaces 2, 3 which are supported by bearing rings, 5, 6, the ring 5 being recessed peripherally at 13, 14 and axially and radially loaded by springs 7, 8, and 9 bearing against the residual surfaces 15, 16, Fig. 2. A bush 28 containing springs 30 may be pressed against a thrust bearing 26 to adjust the weight and balance of the spindle 1 for measuring instruments of different weights by rotating a nut 31, and the spindle may be driven through a clutch 27. At the drive end the spindle casing 11, 12 is located by narrow shoulders 20, Fig. 2, and at the other end it is located by adjustable eccentric pins 21. Bars 23, 24, Fig. 3, are also provided to hold the casing against these shoulders and pins.
