Abstract

1348652 Tugs ELLIOTT BROS (LONDON) Ltd 18 May 1972 [18 Feb 1971] 4930/71 Headings B7A B7S and B7V A tug 5 has a propulsion system which applies thrust against the water, in any selected horizontal direction and the tug has equipment 6 which rigidly attaches the tug to the plating forming the side of ship 1. In the embodiment shown the equipment is box-like structure 6 which acts as a suction head causing the tug to attach itself to the side of the ship. The suction head may be replaced by electromagnetic clamps.
