Abstract

1348101 Self-levelling article dispenser PETERS & CO Inc 21 April 1972 [26 April 1971] 18620/72 Heading A4T A self-levelling article dispenser comprises a platform 10a supported on cantilever 12 connected to a device 14 which resiliently urges the platform upwardly as the top articles of a stack thereon are removed via a top casing opening, the platform being provided with perforations 24 for tubular guides 26 through which slidingly protrude rods 36 resting on the bottom 52 of the dispenser casing, the rods serving to separate e.g. stacks of plates, food or the like on the platform and for perforations for air circulation. The removable bottom of the casing may be replaced by a heater 50 or a door at the front 10 replaced by a cooling blower, the unobstructed apertures then allowing circulation of warm or cool air. The guides 26 may be screwed on to the platform, snap between the wires of a mesh platform or be resilient to engage the apertures. The apertures may be elongated to allow adjustment of the guides and rods.
