Couplings, disconnectible; spigot joints with divided socket or sleeve. -A coupling for attaching an inflating tube to a tyre valve comprises a rubber bush B which fits over the valve stem C, and is secured thereto in an airtight manner by the compression of a metal bush D by means of a cam or eccentric actuated by a lever c pivoted to a brass, aluminium, or iron casing A in which the bushes B, D are situated. The inflating tube is secured to a stem F on a casing G which screws on the casing A.
