1343356 Belt gearing DAYCO CORP 11 Nov 1971 [7 Dec 1970] 52436/71 Heading F2Q [Also in Division B5] An endless power transmission belt 10 includes a compression section 14 comprising, reinforcing particles 15 embedded in a plastic material each of the particles 15 having its longitudinal axis arranged parallel to the width of the belt. The material may be natural or synthetic rubber or urethane. The particles 15 may be of cotton, rayon, polyesters, nylon, or fibreglass. The belt 10 may also comprise a fabric cover 11, a tension section 12. The belt 10 may be a V-belt.
