1343175 Tubular heat exchange elements; surface condensers BORG WARNER CORP 3 Sept 1971 [11 Sept 1970] 41269/71 Heading F4S A tube 12 in which a vapour is condensed has guide means 30 therein for removing condensate from the tube surface, the guide means comprising branches 34 of metal or of plastics material, extending from a stem 32 the branch ends being in contact with the tube wall. The stem 32 may also support below the branches 34 a plurality of resilient further guide means 34<SP>11</SP> of metal or of plastics material each having a rim portion (40) in contact with the tube wall.
