1339889 Discharging cigarettes from trays MOLINS MACHINE CO Ltd 24 Nov 1970 [26 Nov 1969] 35317/73 Divided out of 1339886 Heading B8C The subject-matter of this Specification is identical to that described in the parent Specification 1,339,886, but the claims are concerned with apparatus for unloading cigarettes, or similar rod-like articles, from trays. The apparatus claimed by the invention comprises a substantially horizontal conveyer, and a tray carrier for placing each tray, in turn, above the conveyer, the arrangement being such that cigarettes pass downwards through the tray, and substantially immediately, on leaving the lower end of the tray, are carried away horizontally by the conveyer.
