1339485 Fixing turbine and compressor blades NEVSKY MASHINOSTROITELNY ZAVOD IMENI V I LENINA 11 Aug 1971 37612/71 Heading FIT The blades 4, Fig.1, of a turbine or compressor rotor have roots 5 located in axial slots 2 in rotor body 1. The blades are prevented from moving axially relative to body 1 by stops 9 which engage an annular groove (8), Fig.2 (not shown), in the peripheral surface of body I and engage slots 7 in blade platforms 6. The annular groove (8) and co-operating portions of stops 9 are of dovetail cross-section.
