Abstract

1338832 Exercising device W E BRANDT and A L CLARK 5 March 1971 18820/73 Divided out of 1338831 Heading A6M An exercising device consists of a platform 71 which is movable in its own plane in two perpendicular directions, a support 61 and handles 70. The platform may be inclined to the support by means of motor drive 66. Handles 70 are positioned so that a person standing on platform 71 may grip the handles and move the platform by exerting muscular force against the handles. The platform is shown in Fig. 1. The actual platform 31 is supported by suspension members 33. Springs 34 resist the motion of the platform in both directions.
