Lawn-mowers.-The shaft b for the revolving cutter a of a lawn-mower is mounted in bearings c carried by brackets d pivoted at one end on studs e and supported at the other by adjusting bolts h. The bolt h for each bracket passes through an opening in the free end of the bracket and then through a hole in a lug g on the machine frame a compression spring j being interposed between the bracket and the lug and an adjusting wing-nut k being fitted on the outer end of the bolt.
