Supporting. - A detachable fixing for electric inspection lamps or other articles consists of a spring-pressed rod B carrying a ball C at one end and mounted in a bearing A. The lamp &c. is fitted with a slotted bracket E, which can bei pushed between the ball C and bearing A, and is formed with a recess to receive the ball. An additional support G may be provided to prevent rattling.
